Meet The Team
“Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important.” - Bill Gates.
Checking Progress is an exciting new cloud-based online learning platform offering state-of-the-art education in East Africa, aligned with some of the most prestigious courses and curriculum requirements, such as Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel IGCSE and the IB. It offers realistic questions, immediate feedback, online marking and automatic data tracking.
The Checking Progress Platform is based on cutting-edge technology developed in the UK by Get My Grades. The team behind the platform have extensive experience in both state and private education, and a deep understanding of the latest educational theory, practice and research.
We are very proud to present the Get My Grades - Checking Progress Platform to the East African market, with its unique combination of a concept-led curriculum structure, clear online textbook content and database of realistic questions, each with instant feedback.
We've gone to great lengths to build an e-learning platform based on the very latest educational theory and practice - from schema theory to metacognition - as well as incorporating the latest research published by the Education Endowment Foundation in the UK.
Checking Progress will support the education of learners across East Africa, raising standards and outcomes to be amongst the best in the world.
All of the Checking Progress content is curated by expert teachers and subject specialists. Our adaptive learning software presents questions of an appropriate difficulty and our automatic data entry and tracking saves teachers time whilst giving them better student data.
Student Self-Assessment helps students learn success criteria and develop metacognitive skills. The Checking Progress platform supports a Knowledge Curriculum, helping students go beyond their course and develop elaborate schemata.
